Ranking rules
These are the operating rules of the marketplace. They describe exactly how a position is earned, kept and lost.
How the ranking is determined
Rankings are determined solely by cumulative paid bids within this territory. They do not reflect reviews, sales performance, transaction volume, customer satisfaction, professional certification, or any independent assessment.
Within a territory, brokers are ordered by cumulative bid amount, highest first. If two brokers hold the same amount, the broker who reached that amount first ranks higher.
Cumulative bidding
Every payment is added permanently to your cumulative bid in that territory. Amounts are not reset when you lose the lead, and are not consumed over time.
To take the lead you pay the difference between the current leader’s cumulative bid and your own, plus the territory’s minimum increment. You may pay more than the minimum.
Currency
Each territory operates in the official currency of the country it belongs to. All competitors in a territory bid in that same currency. There is no currency conversion inside a leaderboard, and the bidding currency cannot be changed.
Simultaneous bids
Rankings are live. Two brokers may pay at the same moment. Positions are settled by the server at the time each payment is confirmed, never by what a page was displaying. If another broker overtakes you while your payment is being processed, your payment is still added to your cumulative bid in full.
What a payment is
Your payment permanently increases your cumulative sponsored bid in this territory.
Payment does not purchase real estate, ownership rights, exclusivity over the geographic area, or an independent professional endorsement.
Refunds and reversals
Losing a ranking position is not grounds for a refund. Payments represent sponsored placement contributions and are not reversible simply because another broker later bids more.
Reversals may be granted for duplicate payments, technical errors, fraud, unauthorised transactions, or where required by law. A reversal removes the corresponding amount from your cumulative bid and the leaderboard is recalculated.
Identity and verification
Bids are attached to a public professional identity. A first bid may create a provisional profile so payment can happen before onboarding. Further signed-in bids in territories that require verification need a verified email address and phone number; some markets additionally require professional licence details.
Impersonating another person or agency results in removal of the profile and suspension of the account. Contributions made by a suspended account are not automatically refunded.
Badges
The embeddable badge renders your current position live. It updates automatically and will show your real position if you are no longer reigning.
